International Food Fair
Maas Center Auditorium

Sponsored by the International Relations Club and Center for Global Engagement for over 30 years, the annual International Food Fair celebrates cuisines and cultures represented in the Hope community. Come sample food cooked by Hope students. Admission is $5 cash for an initial packet of five tickets, with additional tickets costing $0.50 each. Most dishes cost one or two tickets.

Yes, you can study off-campus with visible and invisible disabilities! Join us to learn practical steps in planning ahead. We will share valuable resources and tips regarding accommodations and support systems. This session is hosted in partnership with Disability and Accessibility Resources, HAIC and IES Abroad.

Attention all queer students, allies and anyone interested in learning more about the experiences of queer students studying abroad! From navigating cultural differences to finding safe and inclusive spaces, we will discuss practical tips and resources to help you navigate a new environment. Students who participated in research while abroad will also be sharing their findings from their rigorous, thematic independent research projects. Come and browse through the posters on display, chat with the students, and learn about their time off-campus. This session is hosted in partnership with the Provost's Office.

BIPOC Abroad

What is it like to be a student of color abroad? Attention all BIPOC students, allies, and anyone interested in learning more about the experiences of BIPOC students abroad! We will hear from off-campus study returnees about their experiences of race and ethnicity in other countries. At the end of this session, you will have tangible resources and tips to help you prepare for an off-campus study program. This session is hosted in partnership with ASU, LSO, PASA, WOCU and IES Abroad.

Athletes Abroad - DeVos H Club Room

Can student athletes study off-campus? Yes! Join us at this session to learn about off-campus study opportunities for student athletes. Hear from Hope athletes who have spent a semester off-campus and gain tips on how to stay connected to your team while abroad. We will also have a representative from to talk about specific programs in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia with athletic facilities and options for kinesiology and exercise science students.
